SECURITY CERTIFICATE
Camping la Quercia got in 2011 the OHSAS 18001 certificate about the security management.
In order to grant your security we care about constant check of all accesses to the camping site, circulation control, emergency procedures.
Please note:
- – MEDICAL EMERCENCIES: in high season periods a doctor/paediatrician is available every day in defined times (service for payment). The doctor is anyway on call 24 hours a day for emergencies. Ask the reception please. In case of emergency apply to the reception or to any staff member, which is closer to you (restaurant, swimming-pool, etc.). Our staff has been trained to give you help on the basis of our security procedures. The camping site is furnished with DAE for reanimation by the reception, the beach and the swimming-pool and our emergency team is trained for first aid and DAE use.
- – FIRE: the camping site is furnished with: fire extinguishers all around the camping site, electric car for fir’s put out, emergency team for fire’s put out. In case of emergency please inform the reception and check the emergency plan in order to find out the closest fire extinguisher or the nearest collection point.
Campeggio La Quercia believes that its success derives from the sharing of objectives and strategies by each operator of the organization.
It considers that the safety and health of customers, employees and all those who work within and on behalf of the company, are the primary factors for achieving the objectives of the organizational system adopted BS 18001.
La Quercia Campsite undertakes to:
– prevent any accidents and occupational diseases of workers and protect safety of guests;
– assure, by research and promotion of innovative products and technologies, the continuous improvement of our services, in order to prevent occupational diseases and accidents and to purse full satisfaction of our guests;
– consider workplace safety in every activity as a fundamental part of the organization;
– provide information, education and training to its staff;
– operate in observance of current legislation, standards and agreements.
– maintain, check and grant accountability of the SGSL (labor safety management system), with special regard for its strategies and objectives.
– spread this policy also outside the campsite.

ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATE
Since 2001 Camping la Quercia has also obtained the certificate of environment care ISO 14001.
Our environmental policy is meant to reduce consumptions, noise and waste.
In order to improve the separation of waste and consequently reduce not recyclable refuse Camping la Quercia started in 2015 a new refuse collection system which consist of: providing all accommodations with baskets for separate waste collection, door to door collection by the accommodations, more collections points around the camping, use of its own means and staff to care of the collection. This year we will also furnish all guests on the emplacements with bags for separate waste collection. We kindly ask you to read the instructions and collaborate. The use of small electrical and hybrid means of transport for waste collection also avoid noise, smell and circulation blocks, which the big dustcart of past years caused.
In 2015 Camping la obtained the ECO CAMPING label.
Furthermore with the recent built down of the old bungalows and funny bar Camping la Quercia is finally “ETERNIT FREE”.
