To promote sustainable development and improve customer service, as required by the ISO 14001 environmental certification, Camping La Quercia carries out separate waste collection and disposal operations on its own, reducing non-recyclable waste and increasing the collection of reusables.
Each accommodation unit is equipped with 5 collection containers: 4 outside (collection of undifferentiated waste, glass, paper and plastic) and 1 inside (organic waste). Collection is door-to-door.
For pitches, 4 separate collection bags are provided at check-in, in addition to organic waste bags to be emptied at the recycling areas at all toilet groups.
Mini recycling areas (undifferentiated, glass, plastic, paper) are also arranged in the main meeting points of the campsite: swimming pools, restaurants, shopping area, playground, reception desk and beach.
